QuakeNotch 3.2 is here!
Hello, my amazing supporters and QuakeNotch users. I've just released QuakeNotch 3.2 with cute Drag & Drop support for both Quake Terminal and your local AI Assistant QPilot. I'm excited and happy to introduce this update. 🥳
If you are coming from 3.1, this release focuses on two big things:
- Drag & Drop support into Quake Terminal with seamless terminal tab and pane switches.
- Drag & Drop support into Local AI Assistant
This was a very frequently requested feature... I just made it for you. Enjoy! 😊
What's New with QuakeNotch 3.2?
1. Drag & Drop into Quake Terminal and QPilot Assistant
I'm happy to intorduce this very frequently requested feature...
Drop files into Quake Terminal
Now you can drag and drop files directly into your terminal tabs and panes seamlessly. Whether it's a script, configuration file, or any other text-based content, just drag it right into the terminal where you need it.
This makes file operations in your terminal even faster and more intuitive. No more copy-pasting or navigating through menus—just drag, drop, and go!
Drop files into QPilot Local Agentic AI Assistant
The Local AI Assistant gets even more powerful with Drag & Drop support. You can now drag files directly into the assistant to analyze, process, or work with them in context.
Whether you want to ask the AI to analyze a code file, summarize a document, or process any kind of content, just drag it in and let the magic happen.
You can drag a file and hold it on your notch for a second. Hold it on left half of the notch to drop it into Quake Terminal and hold it on right half to drop it into QPilot Assistant.
Similarly, you can hold it on terminal tabs; and, drop into your desired terminal pane.
Also, you can switch between Quake Terminal and QPilot Assistant by holding it on top Terminal and QPilot switch buttons.
2. Significantly Performance on Terminal Rendering
You'll feel a significantly more smooothness in terminal interactions like resizing Quake Terminal or Terminal Panes. 🥳
How to support me? 🩷
